Description

Well... Another commission done by who I consider the best artist designing new Changelings!

All credit goes to siansaar.deviantart.com/ for drawing this based off of Shurelia, a Reyvateil from the JRPG Ar Tonelico!

TEXT WALL AHEAD~~~~~ (Skip if you must...)

So here I was, trying to make heads of the lore behind the Ar Tonelico series and how their song magic works. Then I found out how in the prequel/sequel JRPG, Ar Nosurge, that the player takes control over the main character through a device that looks much like a vacuum tubes from ancient computers. (They actually tried to explain how we control characters from where we are... Yikes) It involves different dimensions and whatnot, but I shouldn't get off topic. So that gave me a (REALLY shaky) idea on how the three Reyvateil Origins begin to 'see' other dimensions using the unlimited energy generating 'Orgel of Origins', which somehow generates infinite energy through 'playing' sounds generated from different dimensions, and had rescued a newborn Changeling Queen who promptly bit Shurelia's hand from the sheer fear the young queen was feeling. Of course, seeing as Reyvateils are not natural beings; but beings made up of organic fluid and a tiny device that gives Reyvateils form, (excluding Origins as they are homunculus made from science) so upon swallowing the 'blood' of Shurelia, the highly versatile genetics of the Changelings attempt to utilize the Origin's blood in the Queen's body.

Long story short, science stabilizes the Queen and allow her to become a Changeling Reyvateil Queen. (Aka: Changelings that can't use regular magic like Changelings, but can use Song Magic as long as there is a Song Server...)

I would go deeper into Reyvateils and how they use Song Magic, but the sheer depth the creators of Ar Tonelico went with it is beyond me... They even made a language called Hymmnos that has a grammatical structure that absolutely screws over standard grammar structure that we learn in school...

This song magic (which is a duet) allows for a floating island to be created...

Also... Song Magic can reincarnate a DEAD, Broken planet back into a planet that can sustain life... Can Equestrian top that?

Basically, the reason song magic works is that in the EXA_PICO universe, all matter and energy is made of waves rather than particles, which means that the proper sound waves can physically alter the world. Humans can technically use it (weakly) if a ton of them knows the right way to do so and they all sing in unison, but song servers are ginormous amplifiers, and reyvateils are artificial lifeforms (and some of those descended from reyvateils who had kids with humans) created to interface with the song severs. Two big barriers to your premise are that 1. The pony with an atom cutie mark proves that Equestria is composed of particles instead of waves and 2. Since Pureblooded reyvateils like the origins are just bioﬁuid and collapse into puddles when their triangular nuclear loops get too far from the song server their soul is in, I doubt that their blood would do anything more than saline would.

Solutions would be to ignore the ﬁrst and say that Equestria is made of waves, and to have that changeling queen somehow ingest telomere (whatever the hell it actually is) by some circumstance.

also I wouldn't call METAFALICA a duet when every single IPD is singing along
